Latin Women in Action, Inc. addresses women's and girl's needs by providing information and referral and access to community resources on matters pertaining to drug/alcohol abuse, suicide, depression, troubled youth and their families, HIV/Aids, domestic violence and the vast array of services available. We also advocate for improvement of access to care, recovery and better treatment services of mental health services. Additionally, we provide counseling to parents and children on school matters. A trained crisis counselor is available for this service. 

Other health related services:

Presently, through the sponsorship of North Shore University Hospital, Latin Women is offering free prenatal care to women in the borough of Queens. A staff member from North Shore Hospital visits the office and provides free pregnancy testing and pre-screening for any and all prenatal services that women may need.
